About the Neon Arc design
Neon Arc is built from light tubes. The outer rim is a neon tube split into arcs, glowing in the main neon color, and a second ring in the secondary neon color circles the center. The base between them is dark and slightly transparent, so the city stays visible behind the wheel. Faint dotted orbit points float around the outside. When a weapon is selected, its arc fills with the main neon and the tube along its edge brightens, which in the Synth palette gives a bright magenta wedge. The weapon name and attachment sit in the center above the 3D center mark. It is simple in shape and all about the glow.
Matching it to the rest of your HUD
Neon Arc pairs with night, neon and synthwave minimaps. Synth, magenta with a cyan inner ring, matches a dark map with pink and blue roads, the classic retrowave pairing. Cyber brings cyan and violet for cyberpunk maps, Sunset uses orange and pink for beach and evening themes, Laser is a sharp red, and Ultra goes bright violet. The two neon colors give you two chances to match: set the main neon to your map's roads and the secondary to its labels or frame.

- pityus_weaponwheel/client.lua
- Only present if you pick the 3D tilt selection motion: a single thread that pushes the tilt settings into HUD component 19.
- pityus_weaponwheel/wheel.json
- The tilt numbers that thread reads, so you can nudge them later without a rebuild.
Installing it
- Copy the pityus_weaponwheel folder into your server's resources directory. Anywhere in resources works. It is a streaming resource, so load order against your framework does not matter.
- Add ensure pityus_weaponwheel to server.cfg. Put it with your other streaming resources. Nothing else in the config has to change.
- Restart the server. The new wheel is served from that moment on.
- Each player restarts the game client once. The game caches HUD scaleforms for the length of a session, so a reconnect is not enough: the client has to be closed and opened again.

QUESTIONS
Neon Arc weapon wheel FAQ
Can I use two different neon colors?
Yes. Neon Arc has a main neon and a secondary neon color, both adjustable in the studio. That makes it easy to match a minimap that uses two accents, such as pink roads and blue labels.
How strong is the glow?
Glow is an adjustable effect, as are the orbit dots. A softer glow gives a cleaner neon line that reads well in daylight, while a stronger glow makes the wheel pop at night, which is where neon looks best.
Which minimap suits the Sunset palette?
A warm, evening-toned map with orange and pink roads. Sunset suits beach, Vice City style and retro servers. Keep the base dark so the orange and pink neon stands out against the background. Laser is the alternative for a red evening map.
