Not a colour — a topographic map at night. Real terrain shading under a warm amber accent.
The palette
What TOPO NIGHT actually does
TOPO NIGHT is the one palette in the set that gives the land its own colour rather than a tint. Vegetation goes to a deep green (#1b3a2b), the water to a night blue (#04131f), and the accent runs a warm #f5b451 through roads and labels. Hills, scrubland, the airport flats and the city blocks all read differently from each other, which no flat palette can do.
How it sits under your blips
More colour on the ground means slightly less blip contrast than the pure neutrals — there is simply more going on underneath. The amber accent stays clear of red, blue and green markers, so what you trade is a little separation, not a hue collision.
Servers it suits
Servers where the countryside matters: hunting, offroad, trucking, rural roleplay, anything where knowing you are on scrub rather than farmland is worth something.
When to pick something else
Black or Gray if maximum blip contrast matters more than reading the terrain. Mixed light for the same idea in daylight.
Island add-on
Mixed dark Cayo Perico, $1.00 per map
GTA 5 draws Cayo Perico from its own Scaleform file, so replacing the Los Santos minimap leaves the island on the stock Rockstar art. The mixed dark island is rendered from the same TOPO NIGHT palette by the same engine and ships as a second drop-in resource.
