Image licence

Who made the pictures on this site, who owns them, and how to ask before you use one.
Our own pictures
Map renders, theme previews, product shots, weapon wheel and Vinewood sign pictures, diagrams and screenshots made here are © FAM Tools.
You may use them in a review, article, video, stream or forum post about this site or its products, unaltered, with the credit "FAM Tools" and a link to fam-tools.com shown beside them.
Anything else needs written permission first: reselling them, putting them in an asset pack or template, using them to advertise a different product, or feeding them to a model as training data.
They picture the GTA V map, which belongs to Take-Two Interactive. What we license is our own drawing, colouring and layout work, never anything of theirs.
Pictures of a map you bought
Buying a map licenses its renders for your own server: screenshots, videos, streams and marketing for the server it runs on, for as long as the licence lasts. That is part of the product, not a separate permission, and there is nothing extra to pay.
Customer gallery pictures
The pictures in the customer gallery show designs made by the people who bought them. The artwork, the logo and the server name in each one stay with their owner; we publish the picture with their permission, and it comes down the moment they ask. Every one of them carries a small FAM Tools mark because the file itself is rendered here.
That means we cannot license one to you. Ask us, and we pass the request on to the owner or tell you where to ask — we do not answer for them.
Asking for permission
Write to [email protected] or ask on Discord. Say which picture, where it will appear and for how long, and you get a plain yes or no — there is no form and no fee for ordinary editorial use.
Taking a picture down
If a picture here is yours and should not be, send us the address of the page and the picture and say what the problem is. It comes down while we look into it, not after.
