The palette

What VIOLET actually does

VIOLET holds the land at #09080d and runs #a05cff through the accent and the coast, with the water dropping into a deep indigo (#040309 to #100722). Purple is uncommon on FiveM maps, which is most of the point — it reads as a deliberate choice rather than a filter.

How it sits under your blips

Purple is close to the colour GTA V uses for the waypoint marker, so that is the one to check: set a waypoint across the city and confirm it still stands out. Beyond that, purple has almost no overlap with standard blip colours, so red, blue, green and yellow icons all stay clean on it.

Servers it suits

Servers with a purple or violet brand, nightlife and club-led identities, and anyone who wants a colour nobody else on the list is using.

When to pick something else

Pink for something warmer in the same family. Blue if the waypoint collision turns out to matter on your setup.

Island add-on

Purple Cayo Perico, $1.00 per map

GTA 5 draws Cayo Perico from its own Scaleform file, so replacing the Los Santos minimap leaves the island on the stock Rockstar art. The purple island is rendered from the same VIOLET palette by the same engine and ships as a second drop-in resource.

FAQ

Purple theme — questions

Which base map style should I take the Purple theme on?
If your players call postal codes on the radio, take the postal style. If you run your own postal script or want the calmest radar, take the no-postals style. If you want a dense, modern street map with a real road hierarchy, take the Google style.
Is the Purple palette readable at radar size?
Yes. Every theme is built from the same 226 megapixel master render with a three-tier road hierarchy, so freeways stay continuous and labels stay legible even at minimap scale. This is a dark theme, which keeps the HUD calm at night.
Can I put my server logo on this theme?
Yes — open it in the studio, place your logo and text, and the branded build is $8.00 plus $1.00 per element.
