The palette

What TOPO DAY actually does

TOPO DAY is the light counterpart to TOPO NIGHT: pale green land (#eef4e4 through #cde0ae), a proper teal sea (#8ecbdc), and dark roads drawn over the top. It is the closest thing here to a walking map, and the only light palette that carries terrain information as well as streets.

How it sits under your blips

Light ground, so the same caution as ALABASTER: saturated blips gain contrast, pale ones lose it, and white HUD text over the map needs checking. The teal accent is far from every common blip colour, so nothing competes on hue.

Servers it suits

Rural and offroad servers that want daylight legibility, and streamers — light maps survive video compression better than dark ones.

When to pick something else

Mixed dark if the light ground fights your HUD. White if you want light without the terrain colour.

Island add-on

Mixed light Cayo Perico, $1.00 per map

GTA 5 draws Cayo Perico from its own Scaleform file, so replacing the Los Santos minimap leaves the island on the stock Rockstar art. The mixed light island is rendered from the same TOPO DAY palette by the same engine and ships as a second drop-in resource.

FAQ

Mixed light theme — questions

Which base map style should I take the Mixed light theme on?
If your players call postal codes on the radio, take the postal style. If you run your own postal script or want the calmest radar, take the no-postals style. If you want a dense, modern street map with a real road hierarchy, take the Google style.
Is the Mixed light palette readable at radar size?
Yes. Every theme is built from the same 226 megapixel master render with a three-tier road hierarchy, so freeways stay continuous and labels stay legible even at minimap scale. This is a light theme, which reads best on bright monitors and streams.
Can I put my server logo on this theme?
Yes — open it in the studio, place your logo and text, and the branded build is $8.00 plus $1.00 per element.
