Every letter sits at a different point on the colour wheel and the whole spectrum walks along the row. It is the loudest build in the gallery and it photographs well, which is the point — this is the one that ends up in trailers and Discord banners. The loop length is adjustable, so you can slow it to a drift or wind it up to a strobe.
How the chase animation behaves
A lit segment runs along the row one letter at a time, like the bulbs around an old theatre marquee. The letters behind it fall back to the floor brightness rather than going dark, so the sign never disappears.
Chase reads as movement even from far enough away that the individual letters have blurred together.
The typeface
Rainbow Chase is set in Bebas Neue, tall and narrow, which buys room for a longer name. You are not locked to it — the banner creator carries 82 typefaces across 12 styles, and swapping one in keeps the palette and the motion exactly as they are. You can also upload a font of your own if your server already has one.
Where this style works
Unapologetically loud: five colours chasing along the row like bulbs around a marquee. It suits event servers, minigame servers and anything aimed at a younger crowd. It is not the build for a city that is trying to feel grounded.
Day and night
After dark the chase is visible from most of the map, and because the letters behind the lit one fall back to a floor brightness rather than going out, the word never disappears between passes. By day the five hues flatten into a stripe, so this is a style that pays off at night.
Three things to change first
- Drop to three coloursFive is a rainbow. Three is a palette, and it still reads as colourful.
- Raise the floor brightnessOtherwise the unlit letters fall away and the word stops being a word.
- Slow the chaseA bulb running faster than about one letter a second stops reading as travel and starts reading as flicker.
What you actually get
A drop-in FiveM map resource: the letters or the cut-out as .ydr models, the colour ramp as a texture, a clip dictionary that animates it, the type definitions, the placement and a manifest. There is no script in the folder, so it costs no frame time, it keeps running when your resources restart, and every player sees the same frame of the loop. Building it takes about a minute after payment and the download never expires. Changing the design later and rebuilding is $10.

Questions about this style
Can I put my own words on the Rainbow Chase style?
Yes — VINEWOOD is only what the sample reads. Opening this style in the banner creator loads its palette, typeface and motion, and the text is the first thing you change. Nothing about the style is tied to the words.
What does the chase animation cost in game?
Nothing measurable. The movement is baked into the map as a colour strip and a clip dictionary, the same mechanism the base game uses for its own moving signage, so there is no script and no per-frame work on any client.
Can I change the colours afterwards?
The palette is baked into the textures when the resource is built, so changing it means a rebuild. Doing that from your saved design costs $10; everything else about the design stays as you left it.
