Two Liner — a custom Vinewood sign for FiveM in clean style
A finished custom Vinewood sign on a FiveM server. The Two Liner style starts from the palette above and the centre out animation described below.

Two rows of letters, each on its own support frame, with the colour opening from the centre of the sign outwards. The second line sits on an adjustable gap below the first, so a long server name over a short tagline still reads cleanly from the road. Both rows animate as one unit rather than letter by letter, which keeps a longer name legible instead of turning it into a light show.

How the centre out animation behaves

The colour opens from the middle of the sign and moves outwards to both ends at once, then repeats. The two halves stay mirrored, which keeps the sign feeling balanced however long the word is.

It works particularly well over two lines, because both rows breathe outwards together instead of chasing each other.

The typeface

Two Liner is set in Anton, a heavy condensed poster face that holds its shape at distance. You are not locked to it — the banner creator carries 82 typefaces across 12 styles, and swapping one in keeps the palette and the motion exactly as they are. You can also upload a font of your own if your server already has one.

Where this style works

Built for the case where the sign has to carry actual information: a server name with a tagline under it. The centre-out motion keeps both rows balanced however different their lengths are, and Anton is heavy enough that a long name does not thin out at distance.

Day and night

Teal into blue is a cool palette, so it reads as clean rather than loud at night, and it does not bloom the way a saturated red or magenta does. In daylight the two rows are the thing you notice, not the colour, which is usually the right outcome for a sign with words on it.

Three things to change first

  1. Set the gap before the sizesThe space between the rows does more for legibility than either row getting bigger.
  2. Animate per pieceRows moving as units stay readable. Per-letter movement on two lines turns into noise.
  3. Make the tagline smaller than you thinkHalf the cap height of the name is usually right; two-thirds already competes with it.

What you actually get

A drop-in FiveM map resource: the letters or the cut-out as .ydr models, the colour ramp as a texture, a clip dictionary that animates it, the type definitions, the placement and a manifest. There is no script in the folder, so it costs no frame time, it keeps running when your resources restart, and every player sees the same frame of the loop. Building it takes about a minute after payment and the download never expires. Changing the design later and rebuilding is $10.

Questions about this style

Can I put my own words on the Two Liner style?

Yes — YOUR / SERVER is only what the sample reads. Opening this style in the banner creator loads its palette, typeface and motion, and the text is the first thing you change. Nothing about the style is tied to the words.

What does the centre out animation cost in game?

Nothing measurable. The movement is baked into the map as a colour strip and a clip dictionary, the same mechanism the base game uses for its own moving signage, so there is no script and no per-frame work on any client.

Can I change the colours afterwards?

The palette is baked into the textures when the resource is built, so changing it means a rebuild. Doing that from your saved design costs $10; everything else about the design stays as you left it.
