Dominant hue: Red, measured from the rendered artwork. Aggressive, legible, and the one accent that reads as a warning whether you meant it to or not.

The grunge style
Torn edges, print texture, heavy grain, desaturated bases. Suits crime and street roleplay far better than a clean gradient.
Grunge is the only style here that uses texture as the subject. The plate is desaturated and damaged, the accent is the single clean thing in the frame, and the contrast between the two is what carries the composition.
It is the right choice for serious crime roleplay, gang servers and anything positioning itself as gritty, and it is the wrong choice for anything that wants to look welcoming. It is also the hardest style to keep legible, because texture competes with type at every size.
Practically: grunge plates need a heavier outline weight on the wordmark than the other three styles, which is why the default stroke setting is higher on these designs. Turning it down makes the lettering sink into the texture.
The gang corner scene
A street corner at night under a failing streetlight, shutters down, nobody in frame.
Deliberately empty and deliberately unglamorous. The light is sodium orange and falls off fast, which leaves most of the frame in the dark and gives a saturated accent nothing to compete with. It is the family where the accent colour does the most visible work, and the one that reads hardest as a claim about what kind of roleplay the server runs.
The same scene is also drawn in anime, painted and photoreal.
Red as a server colour
Aggressive, legible, and the one accent that reads as a warning whether you meant it to or not.
Red carries meaning that no other accent does, which is useful for crime and gang roleplay and unhelpful for a community server trying to look welcoming. Technically it behaves like violet: low enough luminance to carry white text, saturated enough to stay visible at 40 pixels. Pair it with a deep rust secondary rather than a pink one, or the gradient goes synthetic.
