FiveM info banner, 1865x108
17 to 1 is a ratio nothing else on the internet uses, which is why a resized Discord banner is instantly recognisable as one.

banner_detail is the wide strip the FiveM client draws across the top of a server's detail panel, the view a player gets after clicking your name in the list. It is set with a convar in server.cfg, not uploaded anywhere, which means FiveM fetches it from a URL you control every time a client opens the panel.
The convar line is sets banner_detail "https://example.com/detail.png". The sets prefix matters: it marks the convar as replicated so clients can read it. A plain set will not reach the client and the panel will show nothing. The URL has to resolve to the image itself over HTTPS. A link to a Discord message, an Imgur gallery page or a Google Drive preview will not work, because those return HTML.
The layout problem at 1865x108 is that the panel is clipped on narrow client windows, and the clip comes off both ends. The design puts the wordmark left of centre and the invite ribbon in the right third, with forty pixels of dead space at each edge, so a clipped panel loses background instead of losing half your server name. Height is the other constraint: at 108 pixels there is room for one line of display type and a thin ribbon, and a second line of text is unreadable at the size the panel actually renders.
The still version renders at 3730x216, twice the target, because the panel is drawn on whatever display the player has and a file authored at exactly 1865x108 looks soft on anything high-density. The animated version renders at the same doubled resolution and is encoded as a GIF at 24fps over six seconds with a 240-colour palette, which is the point where the file stops growing faster than it looks better.
One thing worth knowing before you spend a day debugging: the FiveM client caches banner images aggressively. If you overwrite detail.png with new art, players who have already opened your panel keep seeing the old one. Change the filename, for example detail-v2.png, update the convar and restart. That is the whole fix and it saves people a lot of time.

Limits to respect
- Must be a direct HTTPS URL that returns the image with no redirect to an HTML page
- The client caches it hard, so change the filename when you change the art
- Animated version built under 13MB so slow connections still fetch it

What goes wrong
The four failures that cost people the most time on this slot.
- Using set instead of sets, so the convar never reaches the client
- Pointing the URL at a Discord CDN link, which expires, or an Imgur page, which returns HTML
- Overwriting the same filename and assuming nobody is seeing a cached copy
- Centring the server name, so a clipped panel cuts it in half
Questions about this size
4 answers.
What size is a FiveM banner_detail image?
1865x108. It is the strip the client draws in the server detail panel. Render at double that and let the client downscale, because the panel is drawn at the player's display density.
Can banner_detail be an animated GIF?
Yes, the client accepts a GIF at that URL. Always host a still PNG as well and keep the animated file modest, because every client that opens your panel downloads it.
Where do I host the image?
Anywhere that serves a direct HTTPS image URL with a stable filename: your own web server, a Cloudflare R2 or S3 bucket, or a static host. Avoid Discord CDN links, which expire.
Why is my banner not showing up?
In order of likelihood: you used set rather than sets, the URL returns an HTML page rather than an image, the host is HTTP rather than HTTPS, or the client is still showing a cached copy of the old file.

This is the one graphic every single player who joins your server sees, full width, while they have nothing else to look at.

Six logo sizes from six separate exports means six slightly different marks. One render, downscaled, means one mark.
FiveM loading screen resource
A video loop costs every joining player a download and still stutters. A live scene costs nothing and runs at their refresh rate.
