Servers that run a Christmas event usually decorate the map and forget the guns, which are the thing players look at all evening. These carry the season on the model itself rather than as a tint applied at runtime, so they read correctly in every light and in every clip. They install like any other add-on weapon and come out again in January by removing one line from the server config.
