A loading screen for vRP Framework
vRP servers are often older builds where the loading screen is a hand-written HTML folder nobody wants to touch. Swapping it for a hosted screen means you get a modern design without editing a single line of markup.
- Resource folder
- resources/ (any folder)
- Framework dependency
- None
- Lines to add to server.cfg
- 1
Installing on vRP Framework
Pick one of the templates, drag the widgets you want onto the canvas and set the server name, palette and rules.
Download the generated resource folder. It holds an fxmanifest and a small data file, with no HTML to maintain on your side.
Any resource folder works. The resource is standalone, so load order and framework version do not matter.
Add the ensure line, remove the ensure line of the loading screen you were using before, and restart the server.
# server.cfg # switch the old one off first: # ensure vRP ensure ls_yourserver
Worth knowing on vRP
Delete or disable the old loading screen resource in server.cfg. The exported resource needs no vRP dependency and starts on its own.
Nothing in the resource uses modern-only natives, so it works on older FiveM artifacts that many vRP servers still run.
