QUESTIONS

About driving style calculator

Why is my value negative?
Bit 31 — StopAtDestination, 2147483648 — does not fit in a signed 32-bit integer, and the native takes a signed int. Pass the negative number this page shows and it behaves correctly. A tool that hands you the unsigned value there is handing you something Lua will reject or wrap.
What are the unknown bits?
Seven of the thirty-two bits — 15, 16, 17, 20, 26, 27 and 28 — are not in the published enum. They exist, and setting them does something, but nobody has written down what. They are marked unknown here rather than given an invented name.
Which style should I use for normal traffic?
786603 is the game’s own "normal" constant: it stops for vehicles and lights, steers around peds and objects, and uses shortcut links. Start there and remove behaviours rather than building a value from nothing.
