Adding the announcement banner
- Write the announcement text.
- Pick a colour that signals urgency without fighting your palette.
- Remove it once the news is old.
What this widget exposes
5 settings of its own. On top of those, every widget can be moved, resized, layered and restyled: background, border, corner radius, shadow, opacity, colours and entrance animation.
Announcement Banner questions
How long should a banner stay up?
Only while it is urgent. A permanent banner stops being read within a week.
Can I have more than one?
You can, but the second one halves the attention the first gets.
